H.E. Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Member of Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources said, on the occasion of the UAE’s celebration of the return of its heroes who participated in the Arab Coalition Forces in Yemen:
This occasion will forever be engraved in the history of the UAE, and we, with all pride, congratulate our wise leaders, represented by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God preserve him, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the people of the UAE, for the return of our brave soldiers to their homeland, after performing their lofty mission and translating the love of homeland, and their true loyalty shown in their efforts and in the living reality.
He added: Our armed forces have written history and a lesson in courage and sacrifice for the sake of the nation. This noble mission they performed is a medal of pride for every Emirati, and they form today the symbols of honour, loyalty and resolution… a source of pride for all the people of the UAE.
He expressed great appreciation and respect to all the families whose children participated in this noble humanitarian mission that holds the meanings of virtue, honour and dignity. He also recalled the veracious martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of God and for the sake of sublimity, security and peace of nations. He asked God Almighty to preserve the leaders and people of the UAE and to maintain security, safety and happiness, and that our armed forces remain a shield that protects our dear homeland.
